When summer’s heat begins to wane, when the air grows crisp in the morning and the days grow shorter, it’s time to gear up for a Pure Michigan getaway amid a kaleidoscope of orange, yellow and crimson. Spend time cruising aboard The Michigan Princess and stop for a traditional fall treat at Uncle John’s Cider Mill.
The Michigan Princess is an authentic, Victorian style vessel and has become an icon in the Lansing area. Each year, more than 15,000 passengers cruise The Michigan Princess for all kinds of occasions. Experience the splendor of fall on the Grand River, relax and enjoy your lunch while cruising and listening to music provided by the Michigan Princess’ Dixieland Band.
Continue the fall fun at Uncle John’s Cider Mill. The founders, John and Carolyn Beck, purchased the “family farm” from John’s parents in the early 1970′s. Originally run as a wholesale fruit and vegetable farm, the young Becks found it hard to make ends meet but found an innovative way to stay in business….make apple cider and donuts! Enjoy tasty fall treats, spend some time in the gift shop, and marvel at the beauty of a Michigan autumn.
Lunch is included aboard The Michigan Princess.
