Let’s go to the birding hot spot of North America as over 200 species rest and feed along the Maumee River and shore of Lake Erie to make the trip over the lake to Canada for the summer.
Our birding guide, Dana Bollin, has spent 30 years banding songbirds, leading programs and tours, and teaching about the natural history of NW Ohio.
We will learn how to quickly narrow down identification possibilities while birding by using GISS (general impression, shape and size). Then we will bird along the world-famous Magee Marsh bird trail.
Enjoy lunch before returning home at the Original Tony Packo’s.
