Join us for a stop at the Hollywood Casino for an included buffet dinner and an hour or so of gaming. Continue to Rossford, OH for their bi-annual Chautauqua Institution program. They begin with some musical productions and then move on to the main stage production. Today’s feature is Susan B. Anthony. She was an American social reformer and women’s rights activist who played a pivotal role in the women’s suffrage movement. Born into a Quaker family committed to social equality, she collected anti-slavery petitions at the age of 17. Susan B. Anthony was a woman who believed that everyone deserved equal rights, men or women. She spoke publicly about her beliefs. This hero was a woman who brought awareness for equality to the United States. She played a prominent role in the women’s suffrage movement; the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote, is named in her honor.
