Day 1
December 10, 2019

This morning depart for Chicago. Lunch on your own at Cracker Barrell en route. Make a stop in St. John’s to visit the Shrine of Christ’s Passion, an interactive half-mile winding pathway that allows you to journey through the Passion of Christ as never before. Be sure to spend some extra time in the bountiful gift shop with a beautiful Christmas section.

Check into the Historic Palmer House hotel and enjoy dinner at The Berghoff Restaurant.

Day 2
December 11, 2019

After an included breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a tour of some beautiful Polish churches in Chicago and a polish lunch. The afternoon is free to spend some time doing some Christmas shopping. This evening enjoy a fun dinner theatre experience at Tommy Gun’s Garage. After a delicious sit-down dinner, join Vito, Gloves, da gangsters and da flappers for non-stop comedy and dangerous fun. You will be transported back to the 1920s, by da boss's 1928 Model A Ford, Roaring Twenties music, memorabilia and pictures of da gangsters and coppers of da time. The mugs and molls dance and sing the Charleston and other musical selections from 1920’s composers like Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Fats Waller and Duke Ellington. Be ready to hide your hooch cause we could get raided by da cops at anytime. Be careful, you could get pulled up on stage to perform a sobriety test given by Officer Murphy! Overnight at the Palmer House Hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 3
December 12, 2019

After an included breakfast at the hotel, enjoy some time for shopping at the Chriskindlmarket. Chicago's largest holiday open-air market is a favorite of locals and tourists alike. Inspired by a Nuremberg, Germany market that was founded in 1545, this market features iconic German items like nutcrackers, cuckoo clocks and beer steins, as well as hand-blown ornaments and wooden handicrafts. Authentic food (sausages, sauerkraut, potato pancakes, waffles) and drink (beer and Glühwein, a traditional hot spiced wine) are also available, along with assorted sweets. Enjoy a gourmet lunch at Lawry’s Steakhouse before returning home. (B,L)
