Tour and shop at Robinette’s Apple Haus & Winery. Locally family-owned and operated, this fruit farm features a market, cider mill, bakery, wine and more. Lunch is included along with a freshly made donut & apple cider. No visit to Grand Rapids is complete without a visit to Founders Brewing Co.! Founders is one the largest & most well-known breweries in Michigan...and beyond. Enjoy a tasting of some of the highest rated beers in the world! This evening, enjoy an authentic old-world Italian dinner at Noto’s, recognized with the “Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator since 2003 and “Best Awards of Excellence” since 2006. Breakfast is included at the hotel. Spark your curiosity at the Grand Rapids Public Museum, Michigan’s oldest museum. Take in world-class exhibits featuring history, nature, cultural heritage and more. Locate the A-Z collection and take a ride on the vividly painted 1928 Spillman Carousel, which is one of only three known to have been produced by the company. Stroll through a 3/4 scale detailed re-creation of Grand Rapids in the 1890s, eleven shops based on actual businesses and buildings. The storefronts and interiors are stocked with real merchandise from the past. Hear street sounds as you walk through the exhibition and learn about the era and artifacts from trained guides. Enjoy an independent lunch at the Grand Rapids Downtown Market, home to 20+ artisan food shops, plus full-service restaurants including SLOW'S BBQ. Shop everything from meats to sweets. Tour Frank Lloyd Wright's Meyer May House. The restoration, presented by Steelcase, includes original furnishings and faithfully executed reproductions. Enjoy a tour of The Heritage Hill Neighborhood, one of the country’s largest urban historic districts recognized by the National Register of Historic Places. More than 1,300 homes stand within the boundaries of Heritage Hill and date from 1843. Nearly every style of American architecture, from Greek Revival to Prairie, is represented in the district. Breakfast is included at the hotel. Today is an activity of YOUR CHOICE: Frederick Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park - voted one of the world’s 100 most-visited art museums. This expansive and spectacular botanical garden is home to many outstanding outdoor sculptures.

Ford Presidential Museum - America’s most entertaining presidential museum is both a loving tribute to the U.S. president who grew up in Grand Rapids and a fascinating exploration of the turbulent times our country experienced during his lifetime. Interactive exhibits give visitors a visceral sense of Ford’s journey from boyhood to life after the White House, emphasizing the responsibilities of democratic citizenship and service to country. See the Oval Office and the original Watergate burglar tools. Lunch is included at Beggar's Banquet in Lansing. Arrive home early afternoon. (B,L)
