Among many other things, guests are invited to visit WWII bunkers and so-called "ghost train stations" and also to find out abuot Cold War escape attempts to the West via tunnels and canals. Discover the magic of the rococo at the beautiful Charlottenburg Palace - once a royal summer residence, today Berlin's largest and most magnificent palace. For a city trip it always helps to get an overview. This is nowhere better than from the world famous "Berliner Fernsehturm", the Berlin TV Tower - the highest point of view right in the center of Berlin. Enjoy the stunning panoramic views from the viewing platform. Enjoy a relaxing cruise with a beautiful view of the city. This Historic City Cruise presents many major sights along the River Spree between the Reichstag, and Nicholas' Quarter. Highlights: Government Quarter, Hauptbahnhof, Berlin Cathedral, Museum Island, Nikolai Quarter, and more.

Day 4
Sunday, June 9

Today, depart for Munich with a stop in Rothenburg along the way. Nowhere is that more apparent than in the lovely, charming towns in Old Bavaria. And in particular, Rothenburg ob der Tauber (as it is officially known), which translates as “Red Fortress above the Tauber” since it overlooks the Tauber River. While you may not technically be able to travel back in time, it sure will feel like it when you arrive. Arrive in Munich and overnight at your hotel.

Day 5
Monday, June 10

Drive along the scenic Romantic Road past small villages and towards the Bavarian Alps, where two of Bavaria’s most famous castles can be found: Hohenschwangau Castle, where King Ludwig spent much of his youth, and NEUSCHWANSTEIN CASTLE. This castle became the most famous of all and was inspiration for Walt Disney’s Sleeping Beauty castle. In the village Hohenschwangau lies the 'Museum of the Bayerischen Könige', or the Museum of the Bavarian Kings. Learn more about the history of Ludwig II and his family. Old objects, interesting stories and interactive media take you into the history of the Wittelsbach dynasty. In particular King Maximilian II, who made the Hohenschwangau Castle into a summer residence, and King Ludwig II, who built Neuschwanstein , play a central role in the museum. Tonight, overnight in Munich.

Day 6
Tuesday, June 11

This morning, enjoy a walking tour of the city of Munich. Today, you will visit Nymphenburg Palace. Built as a summer residence for one of Bavaria's electors, Schloss Nymphenburg (Nymph's Palace) is a treat for those who enjoy viewing the opulence of the lifestyles of the aristocracy. Overnight in Munich.
