Take an excursion to Indian Village where our guide will take you through the Streets of Detroit telling you who lives here and who lived there.
Come join us on this excursion to Indian Village where you will have the opportunity to visit inside 4-5 homes open to the public today. In the area of Indian Village, our guide Michael will take you through the Streets of Detroit telling you who lives here and who lived there. Your first stop will be at local church to learn about it’s fascinating history. Expect to do some walking today even though they try to cluster the homes to make walking distances easier. We will also have our motor coach to take us on the longer jaunts. One of the homes is still in repair if you are interested in seeing some of the before scenes. The Indian Village community consists of households, churches, elementary schools and nursery schools. This historic district includes Burns, Iroquois and Seminole Avenues from East Jefferson running one mile north to Mack Avenue.
Lunch is included at Sindbad’s.
