Day 1
Saturday, June 7

Depart Michigan and travel to NY for an overnight stay at a local hotel.

Day 2
Sunday, June 8

Depart the hotel for Central Massachusetts where you’ll grab an included lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, travel on to Maine and check into The Anchorage Inn in York for the night. This property is located directly across from the ocean - enjoy the sea breeze and gorgeous views. A Maine Tour Lobsterette will greet you with maps and fun lobster hats. Take a photo of the Nubble Lighthouse in Cape Neddick. You’ll also spot the infamous Boon Island Lighthouse, located just off-shore. Feast on a Lobster Choice Dinner with all the fixings. (B,L,D)

Day 3
Monday, June 9

After an included breakfast at the hotel, tour the Maine Maritime Museum. Located on the banks of the Kennebec River, the museum depicts Maine’s shipbuilding industry from the 1600s to the present. Then you’re off to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Enjoy lunch on your own at the onsite cafe. Your guided tour of the gardens is approximately one hour, followed by free time to enjoy your personal connection with nature. This afternoon, board a large tour boat for a scenic Boothbay Seal, Lighthouses and Lobster Haul Cruise. Pass by beautiful vacation homes, lighthouses, small islands and seals resting on ledges on this fully narrated, two-hour cruise with both open and enclosed decks. Check into the Boothbay Harbor Inn, an ocean-front hotel, for the night. Dinner is included at the hotel this evening. (B,D)

Day 4
Tuesday, June 10

Breakfast is included at the hotel before traveling to Camden. Meet your tour guide for a narrated 2 hour tour of mid-coast Maine, including the picturesque villages of Rockport and Camden. Take a photo atop Mt. Battle within the beautiful Camden Hills State Park where you’ll see sweeping views of Penobscot Bay and the towns made famous by the movie Peyton Place. Lunch is included at a local favorite restaurant. Sit back and enjoy the ride “downeast” to Bar Harbor. Discover a friendly collection of streets, shops and restaurants atop a hill that overlooks the harbor where tour boats, fishing vessels and cruise ships are moored. Make a quick stop for a sweet treat on the way to the hotel. Check into the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel for the next two nights, a beautiful resort hotel overlooking scenic Frenchman’s Bay. Guest rooms have water views with private balconies or patios. After an included dinner at the hotel, embark on a beautiful Acadian Sunset Cruise. Cruise along the rocky shoreline of Bar Harbor for some of the most breathtaking views of the area. Take in the coastal summer cottages, classic Egg Rock Lighthouse and of course navigate around local, outer islands. Naturalists will point out local wildlife, including seals, eagles, osprey, harbor porpoise and other marine life that may be hanging around. Watch the sun go down over the distant mountain in a relaxed and comfortable setting. (B,L,D)

Day 5
Wednesday, June 11

Enjoy an included breakfast at the hotel before meeting a local guide for a tour of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Highlights of the tour include the stunning Loop Road, the summit of Cadillac Mountain, the crashing waves at Thunder Hole and quiet beauty of the inland park scenery. Lunch is included at a local favorite. This afternoon you will visit The Abbe Museum - Maine’s most extensive Native American Heritage Museum dedicated to greater understanding of and support for Wabanaki Nations’ heritage, living cultures, and homelands. An early dinner is included at local restaurant. Tonight you’ll be treated to unique Maine entertainment at the Great Maine Lumberjack Show. Hear big crosscut saws singing in the forest, watch wood chopping, sawing, tree climbing, ax throwing, and log rolling! (B,L,D)

Day 6
Thursday, June 12

After breakfast at the hotel travel to Damariscotta where you’ll board a boat for a luxurious tasting cruise. Included are 5 servings of sumptuous wines and bubblies paired with 10 of the finest Damariscotta River oysters. Cruise down the river past oyster farms, basking seals, bald eagles and other wildlife aboard the comfortable and roomy River Tripper. Lunch is included at a local restaurant followed by free time to shop at the LL Bean Flagship Store. Travel to Portland for a quick photo stop at Portland Head Lighthouse - the most photographed lighthouse in America. This evening, dinner is a classic Downeast Lobsterbake with sing-a-long entertainment. You will feast on your choice of Maine boiled lobster (chicken or a vegetarian dish are available) plus chowder, steamed mussels, corn on the cob, Maine potatoes, and blueberry cake. (B,L,D)

Friday, June 13

Begin your journey home after an included breakfast. Travel to NY for an overnight stay. (B)

Saturday, June 14

After breakfast at the hotel, finish your journey back home to Michigan with wonderful memories of your Coastal Maine Lighthouses & Lobster Tour. (B)
