Day 1
Wednesday, August 7

Depart Southgate, MI for Niagara Falls. Independent lunch and rest stops en route. Once in town, take a Niagara Falls “Voyage of the Falls” boat cruise. Enjoy stunning views of the Niagara Gorge, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls, and come face-to-face with the famous Canadian Horseshoe Falls. Feel the thundering roar, awesome power, and amazing mist (a protective recyclable mist poncho is provided) that come along with these natural wonders. Check into our hotel for the next two nights, The Prince of Wales, located in Downtown Niagara on the Lake. The Prince of Wales Hotel, first built in 1864, stands as a historical landmark in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Named in honor of a visit by the Duke and Duchess of York in 1901, a stay at this hotel is an indulgence in Niagara royalty. Step inside the Prince of Wales and you’ll experience intricate inlaid floors, bespoke works of art and romantic signature roses. You will fall in love with your surroundings as the hotel speaks to an appreciation for the finer things in life. Dinner is included at the hotel. (D)

Day 2
Thursday, August 8

Enjoy some free time this morning in Downtown Niagara on the Lake to enjoy the hotel or shopping the beautiful streets filled with local boutique shops. Have independent lunch at a local restaurant before the highlight of the day, My Fair Lady at the Shaw Festival Theatre. (See the front page for a description of the show.) After the performance, we will have an included dinner at The Cannery Restaurant. Taste the flavors of Niagara with a gourmet menu crafted using ingredients from across the Niagara region. (B,D)

Day 3
Friday, August 9

Along with an included breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning at the hotel. At 11am, tour and taste your way through Peller Estates Winery. Your tour begins with a glass of sparkling wine in the backyard, where you’ll make your way to the Estate vineyard to learn more about the unique growing region that is the Niagara Escarpment. After you’ve explored the vineyard, you’ll descend into the underground barrel cellar where you’ll savour another tasting of their wines among 300 wine barrels. Continuing through the cellar you’ll discover Niagara's only igloo-like lounge, the 10Below Icewine Lounge. Constructed out of a mammoth 13,607 kilos of ice and kept at a frosty 10º below zero (the ideal temperature for harvesting Icewine grapes), you’ll sample their liquid gold! Your experience concludes in the beautiful winery boutique for a truly unforgettable winery experience from start to finish. Lunch and wine is included at another stunning local winery, Rockway Vineyards, before heading home. (B,L)
