Our day begins at the National Museum of the Great Lakes, where we’ll enjoy a special guided tour focused on the fascinating and tragic story of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Explore hands-on exhibits and rare artifacts that bring the maritime past to life in a museum that’s as informative as it is inspiring.
Next, we’ll dine at the Real Seafood Company, a local favorite known for its fresh, flavorful meals and views of the riverfront.
After lunch, we’ll board the Sandpiper for a scenic river cruise, offering a front-row seat to the breathtaking River Wall Mural—the largest in the country— along with other murals along the water. Learn about the mural’s design and meaning while enjoying the gentle ride along the Maumee River. It’s a perfect blend of history, art, and waterfront beauty all in one enriching day.
