Day 1
Monday, December 10

Board the coach and Travel south to find Christmas in the south. Our first stop is in Cincinnati. Take a fast food lunch and meet your local gangster for a guided tour of Newport and Cincinnati. You will be amazed how much you will learn about the gangsters from years gone by who ruled over this area. It’s entertaining as well as an educational program. Continue to Lexington for overnight accommodations. Dinner is included tonight.

Day 2
Tuesday, December 11

After included breakfast, continue to Pigeon Forge. Take time for a quick lunch, check into the hotel, and begin the fun begins with the Smoky Mountain Opry. Dinner is included then, after dark, take a ride through the cities of Pigeon Forge and Sevierville and see the millions of lights on display along the parkway.

Day 3
Wednesday, December 12

Get up early today and grab breakfast before heading into the Smoky Mt National Park in pursuit of the elusive bears and other animals that are active about dawn. Remember dawn is later in the winter. Return to the hotel, grab a quick lunch, and then those who are interested in crafts, will drive a few miles to the arts and crafts area. Pick up some gifts for friends and family or yourself. Be back in time for the Hatfield’s and McCoys dinner theatre. Just why were those Hatfields and McCoys fueding any way? The food is good and the show is exciting and you will leave happy.

Day 4
Thursday, December 13

Enjoy some free time and lunch. Then depart for Lexington and Frankfort, KY. Tour Ashland, the Henry Clay Estate. He was known as the “Great Compromiser” who helped keep the USA united. Continue to Frankfort and overnight.

Day 5
Friday, December 14

After breakfast enjoy visiting the Capitol of Kentucky, Frankfort, with a local guide. Time permitting, visit a candy store, distillery, Veterans wall, a cemetery, the Floral Clock, a covered bridge, etc.

Enjoy lunch at the historic Glen Willis House and depart for home. Should arrive home about 7-8 pm.
