Day 1
Sunday, January 13, 2019

A morning departure from Michigan has you traveling to your overnight stop in Springfield, IL where you will check into your hotel (pack an overnight bag), dinner is on your own this evening.

Day 2
Monday, January 14, 2019

Following breakfast at the hotel, check out and travel to Branson, MO for your second overnight stop (pack an overnight bag). Upon arrival you will visit the Titanic Attraction where you will see the various artifacts and learn about the fate of the passengers and crew members. Afterwards, check into your hotel and prepare for a buffet dinner in the area, which is followed by the fabulous show at the Grand Jubilee. (B,D)

Day 3
Tuesday, January 15, 2019

After breakfast, check out and continue traveling to Dallas, TX where you will check into your hotel for the next five nights and relax before departing for dinner at a restaurant in the area. (B,D)

Day 4
Wednesday, January 16, 2019

Enjoy breakfast, then meet your local guide for a full day of touring in Dallas which will include Old Red Courthouse, Dealy Plaza, the JFK Memorial, Dallas City Hall and the Old City Park. You will also visit the Sixth Floor Museum located in the former Texas School Book Depository which overlooks Dealy Plaza. The story of John F Kennedy’s assassination is told through thousands of incredible TV and radio broadcasts, photographs, manuscripts, documents and artifacts that are displayed within the Museum. Your tour will end at the Southfork Ranch, the television home of “The Ewings” from the show “Dallas”. After a tour of the Ewing Mansion, enjoy a wonderful dinner at Southfork Ranch. (B,D)

Thursday, January 17, 2019

Breakfast, then depart for Chip and Joanna Gaines Magnolia Market at the Silos in Waco. The Silos: more than a dusty, dilapidated piece of history – Joanna’s vision was that it would become a gathering place for community. Spend the day shopping and having fun with family and friends. It is a place to slow down, turn off your phone, and connect with people. Dinner is on your own this evening. (B)

Day 6
Friday, January 18, 2019

After breakfast, meet your local guide for a tour of the AT&T Stadium, which is not only the home of the Dallas Cowboys, but also the largest domed structure and an art museum. Afterwards, continue to the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Gardens which is a 66-acre urban oasis featuring 19 finely manicured gardens and seasonal festivals. The Garden provides rotating displays four times a year, delivering breathtaking colorful floral displays and gorgeous vistas on the banks of White Rock Lake. After lunch on your own, depart for a tour of the George W. Bush Presidential Center, which is located at the Southern Methodist University. The Center is a complex that includes the presidential library and museum, the George W. Bush Policy Institute and the office of the George W. Bush Foundation. After your visit, return to your hotel to freshen up before dinner which will be at a restaurant in the area. (B,D)

Day 7
Saturday, January 19, 2019

Following breakfast, depart for nearby Grapevine, TX for a guided tour. Take a leisurely stroll down Main Street to explore more than fifty buildings, works of art and many more places which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. After the tour, spend time in the Main Street District where you can enjoy lunch on your own and free time to browse in the shops. Later, you will continue to Fort Worth, also known as “Cowtown”. Your guided tour of Fort Worth includes the Cultural District and a tour through Billy Bob’s of Texas (the world’s largest honky tonk). You will also see a cattle drive of longhorns that parade right down Exchange Boulevard. The tour ends at the Stockyards where you will have time to browse the shops and enjoy dinner. Your day will end with a regular season rodeo at the Stockyards Rodeo. (B, D)

After breakfast, check out and depart for Memphis where overnight lodging (pack an overnight bag) has been arranged for you. Tonight you will enjoy dinner and entertainment at Kings Palace Café on Beale Street. (B,D)

Day 9
Monday, January 21, 2019

Enjoy breakfast, then check out and depart for a self-guided tour at Elvis Presley’s Graceland. Afterwards, continue to Bowling Green, KY for overnight lodging (pack an overnight bag). Dinner is on your own this evening. (B)

Day 10
Tuesday, January 22, 2019

After breakfast, check out and depart for a visit to the Corvette Museum before departing for home. (B)
