Day 1
Monday, October 12

Depart the downriver area going East. Lunch and breaks. Check into the hotel in Winchester, PA. Dinner is included tonight. (D)

Day 2
Tuesday, October 13

Breakfast included at hotel. Stop at the Patsy Cline Visitors Center. Explore the displays and learn of Patsy’s music career. Then visit the Patsy Cline Historic House and learn about her childhood home and dreams of becoming a Country Music Star. Groups alternate these two attractions. Next is a driving tour of Patsy’s Hometown, you’ll see Gaunt’s Drug Store where she worked as a teenager, the house where she married Charlie in 1957, her High School, her gravesite and more. After Lunch, depart for Virginia Beach. Tonight’s big event is the Beach Boys Boardwalk Bash. Please come in colorful shirts and dresses, flip flops, muumuus, sun glasses, beach hats, just get in the mood.. . .Enjoy the food, a plated Beach Bum dinner, a healthy meal with a chicken dish, vegetables and delicious dessert. This is a themed party, a California blend of dinner and dancing that starts the night right. This is a night with a show band, a dance floor, and a creative menu. What’s not to like? (B.D)

Day 3
Wednesday, October 14

Breakfast included at hotel. Today, let’s go into Norfolk. Let’s tour the Naval base then go to the General McArthur statue and there is still time left to visit a world-class permanent art collection. The Chrysler Museum of Art is home to a collection of nearly 30,000 objects spanning 5,000 years of history. Highlights include an impressive and comprehensive survey of European and American painting and sculpture, a world-renowned glass collection, a rich photography program, and art from African, Asian, Egyptian, Pre-Columbian, and Islamic cultures. Dinner is on your own today. Tonight’s entertainment is a concert by “The Sounds of the Supremes.” These gals are preserving the music of “The Supremes.” Since the late 1980’s this group has achieved remarkable worldwide success. Their incomparable energy packed show features more than 20 hit songs. Enjoy a fantastic vocal blend of Motown classics, standards, contemporary songs blended with stylish choreography, and unrivaled glamour. You will find your self dancing in the aisles, and swinging and swaying to the beat. (B)

Day 4
Thursday, October 15

Breakfast included at hotel You have a free day at the beach. You may want to take the trolley, or stroll the boardwalk, or rent a bicycle built for 4, or put 4 people in a taxi and see the town that way. Tonight features a great Italian dinner followed by another marvelous music show by “Let’s Hang On!” Playing for audiences nationwide, this is a full-blown 10 person stage show featuring a live band, who preserve the music and style of the iconic 60’s group, “Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.” This group will make you want to get out of your seat and dance the night away, and it will make you hum along with some of those timeless 60’s songs. Day 5
Friday, October 16

Today we begin our return home. In the afternoon take a ride on the Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad, then continue to Ligonier, PA for a supper and overnight accommodations. (B. D)

Day 6
Saturday, October 17

Breakfast at the hotel. Then visit the 911 Memorial to Flight 93. It has been updated since we were there last, so you will be pleasantly surprised. Continue west as you journey homeward arriving in the late afternoon. (B)
