The Appleumpkin Festival makes fall produce the star of the show, but it also shines the spotlight on the Tecumseh community. Tecumseh is a great place to enjoy the fall colors of the beautiful trees set amongst the old historical homes. Tecumseh’s downtown streets are safe to walk and you’ll always see smiling, friendly faces along the way. Visit and shop our beautiful local storefronts decked out in fall decor. The light posts are decorated with corn stalks and bright orange ribbons. Look for the scarecrows made by our favorite local merchants, and even make a scarecrow of your own at the Make It Take It Scarecrow tent – for free.
Also visit the Kapnick Orchard’s Fall Festival nearby: There is something for everyone. Live entertainment, craft show with 75+ vendors, wagon rides, apples, cider, donuts, and pies. Pick your own apples & Pumpkins and watch cider being pressed.
There will be plenty of food vendors at both festivals for a snack later in the day.
Please note: These events are rain or shine.
A full service brunch is included at The Public House before the festivals.
