Day 1
Sunday, March 3

Today is a travel day. Depart from Detroit Metro Airport this morning and arrive into Phoenix, Arizona. Spend some time in Old Town Scottsdale for a leisurely lunch & visit the local shops. This afternoon, transfer to Tucson, and check into your hotel for the next 6 nights: Casino Del Sol Resort. Dinner is included this evening at the hotel. (D)

Day 2
Monday, March 4

After an included breakfast, enjoy a visit to the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. This place will turn your idea of a museum inside out. Guests will enjoy a quintessential Sonoran Desert experience which includes: an unforgettable fusion zoo, botanical garden, natural history museum, aquarium and art gallery. Explore 21 acres with two miles of walking trails. Highlights include Stingray Touch, the Hummingbird Aviary, Warden Aquarium and Earth Sciences Center where guests descend into a replica limestone cave. This afternoon, meet up with a local guide for a private tour of the greater Tucson area. Visit the charming neighborhoods as well as some of the top attractions such as San Xavier del Bac Mission, The Historic Aviation Bone Yard, Saguaro National Park, and DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun. Tuesday, March 5

Today is a full free day to spend at your leisure. Wednesday, March 6

Enjoy a leisurely morning at the resort property. In the early afternoon, visit Biosphere 2 (Part of the University of Arizona). Here you will explore living, breathing scientific research in the world's largest controlled environment dedicated to understanding the impacts of climate change. Your walking tour includes a safe one-way path around the spectacular Biosphere 2 complex and into the "Under the Glass" experience of Biosphere 2 itself! This evening is “A Taste of Tucson” Culinary Tour with a local guide featuring tastings from some of the best restaurants in the area. (B,D)

Thursday, March 7

Today is a full free day to spend at the resort. (B)

Saturday, March 9

After an included breakfast this morning, check out of the hotel and depart for the Phoenix area for a visit to the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM).
