Day 1
Sunday, July 20

Depart Michigan and travel to Kennett Square, PA. Farm to table dinner is included at Harvest Grill in Lancaster. Check into the Fairfield Inn & Suites, your home for the next four nights. (D)

Day 2
Monday, July 21

After an included breakfast at the hotel, depart for a day in Philadelphia. Stop at the JFK Plaza, also known as LOVE Park, the most photographed view in the city. Independent lunch at the Reading Terminal Market. Visit The National Constitution Center - the first and only museum dedicated to the US Constitution. Experience immersive exhibitions, interactive shows and live performances that engage visitors with the history of our founding document and connect history to timely constitutional topics. Meet a local guide for a tour of Old City Philadelphia that includes stops outside of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Dinner is included at Moshulu, the world’s only Tall Ship Restaurant. Day 3
Tuesday, July 22

Breakfast is included at the hotel. A local guide will join our group for a 10-mile driving loop tour of Valley Forge National Park. Learn about the 6-month winter Washington’s army endured from 1777-1778 as well as the evolution of what was farmland and industry turned into a National Park. See the National Memorial Arch, Washington’s Headquarters, Muhlenberg’s Brigade, and Grand Parade Ground. Lunch is included at Founding Farmers. Founding Farmers King of Prussia honors our country’s founding fathers and mothers who strategically grew crops, experimented with seeds, and researched new possibilities for food sources. These Founding Farmers knew that agriculture held the key to self-sufficiency and our country’s independence. Enjoy some down time this afternoon before having an independent dinner at The Market at Liberty Place. (B,L)

Day 4
Wednesday, July 23

After an included breakfast at the hotel, explore the highlights of Longwood Gardens on a guided 60 minute stroll. Learn the story of how one man’s vision turned Longwood into one of the great gardens of the world. Independent lunch at the cafe. Visit Nemours Mansion & Gardens. Take in the elegance of a 77-room mansion, a chauffeur’s garage with vintage automobiles and 200 acres of Frenchinspired formal gardens, grounds and woodlands. A visit to Brandywine Valley is not complete without stopping at the Hagley Museum & Library. It is here that the du Pont family first settled in America, built their first home, and began the black powder manufacturing business that became the foundation for all other du Pont enterprises in the world. See demonstrations of the nineteenth-century machine shop, watch a water turbine bring eight-ton iron roll mills to life, and witness a black powder explosion. On the second half of the tour, visit the du Pont family home, the first office, and their first garden. Learn about how the family lived, worked, and played at Hagley. A farm-to-table dinner is included at The Stone Barn Restaurant. (B,D)

Thursday, July 24

Breakfast is included at the hotel. Visit Phillips Mushroom Farms. Based in Kennett Square, PA - the mushroom capital of the world - Phillips Mushroom Farms is the largest grower of specialty mushrooms and a leader in overall mushroom productions. For over 90 years, the Phillips family has put a focus on innovation and quality to provide consumers with the best tasting mushroom. Lunch is included at a local restaurant. This afternoon, attend a spell-binding performance of “Noah” at The Sight & Sound Theatre. With a catastrophic storm on its way, Noah is given a monumental task: build a boat big enough to save his family from a flood that will cover the entire earth. A Traditional Smorgasbord Dinner is included at a local restaurant in Lancaster. Overnight at Tru by Hilton Lancaster. (B,L,D)

Day 6
Friday, July 25

After an included breakfast at the hotel, make the journey home. Lunch is included in Pittsburgh. Arrive back to Michigan with wonderful memories of your tour to Brandywine Valley & Philadelphia. (B,L)
