Day 1
Monday, July 8

7:30 AM Depart Southgate, MI for Geneva, NY. Enjoy an included Lunch and Wine Tasting at Ferrante Winery & Ristorante. This afternoon, check into the 41 Lakefront Hotel for 3 Nights. Dinner is included at the hotel this evening. (D)

Day 2
Tuesday, July 9

Visit Corning Museum of Glass – Known as the “Crystal City,” this world-renowned museum hosts the finest collection of ancient, modern, and contemporary glass. Discover the science and technology of glass in the Innovations Center and see how the invention of Pyrex, Corelle and Optical Fiber changed our world. Watch breathtaking live, narrated flameworking and glass blowing demonstrations in a state-of-the-art Amphitheater, the world’s largest Hot Shop. The Studio offers an opportunity to try glassmaking yourself at the Make Your Own Glass Workshop (included in your touring). From hot glass working to fusing, to sandblasting—you can do just about anything with glass with the help of experienced glassworkers. Lunch and Wine Tasting are included at a Local Winery. This afternoon, relax with Captain Bill’s Seneca Spirit Cruise – Discover the beauty and charm of Seneca Lake as it can only be seen from the water. You will be captivated by Hector Falls at 165 ft., the majestic cliffs of the east shore with Native American paintings, and a view of the salt industry. The sights and sounds of this ageless body of water invite you aboard a one hour cruise, a tradition since 1908. Dinner is included tonight at The Gould. (B,L,D)

Day 3
Wednesday, July 10

Breakfast is included at the the hotel. Visit the Willard Memorial Chapel - a National Historic Landmark. The chapel is the only complete Tiffany chapel in the world. Following the tour, we will enjoy a 20-minute concert on the 1891 Steere & Turner Organ. Next, take a step in the past with a visit to Harriet Tubman National Historical Park - see the home of the woman known as “the Moses of her people,” where she lived from 1857 to her death in 1893. Enjoy a pick-me-up at Strawberry Fields Hydroponic Farm along the Auburn Sweet Treat Trail. A variety of refreshments will be served, including iced tea with raspberry lemonade and ice water infused with strawberries, as well as a platter of assorted cookies. You will leave with a complimentary jar of strawberry jam and can pick up more jams, raw honey, and other artisan products and souvenirs from the gift shop. Enjoy a guided tour of Seneca Falls, used as inspiration for the imaginary town of Bedford Falls in the classic 1946 movie “It’s A Wonderful Life”. See the Women’s Rights National Historical Park, National Women’s Hall of Fame and the “It’s A Wonderful Life” Museum. Independent Lunch in Seneca Falls along Fall Street. Next is a wine tasting at Cayuga Ridge Estate Winery. Savor award-winning wines under the glow of their gothic church lights in a rustic barn at one of the oldest wineries in the Finger Lakes. We’ll round out the day with a visit to Taughannock Falls State Park. Taughannock Falls State Park's namesake waterfall is one of the outstanding natural attractions of the Northeast. Taughannock Falls plunges 215 feet past rocky cliffs that tower nearly 400 feet above the gorge (higher than Niagara Falls!). Dinner is included at Coltivare – Translated to cultivate in Italian, Coltivare is more than just a name. Featuring fresh ingredients for a true “farm to bistro” experience, the mission of the restaurant is to cultivate the land, foster learning, and transform raw ingredients into local, farm-fresh cuisine. Day 4
Thursday, July 11

Breakfast is included at the hotel followed by checkout. This morning we are heading to Letchworth State Park known as the“Grand Canyon of the East” for a guided tour. This 14,350-acre scenic park along the Genesee River features three large waterfalls, dubbed the Lower, Middle, and Upper Falls. While at the Park, visit the William Pryor Letchworth Museum. It tells the story of Letchworth State Park from the prehistoric era to modern times. It houses its benefactor William Pryor Letchworth’s personal collections, including Native American and pioneer artifacts as well as Civilian Conservation Corps materials. Lunch at Glen Iris Inn. Inside Letchworth State Park sits the wonderful Glen Iris Inn, built in 1859 as the estate of William P. Letchworth because of its magnificent setting. You will enjoy a delicious lunch here and continue home afterwards. (B,L)
