Depart Michigan and travel to Columbus, OH for an included lunch at Schmidt’s. Travel to Beckley, West Virginia for an overnight stay at a local hotel and an independent dinner. (L)

Monday, April 28

Breakfast is included at the hotel. Explore the Billy Graham Library in North Carolina, a charming attraction offering a glimpse into the life of one of the world’s most influential figures, with lunch on your own at the onsite Dairy Bar. Continue on to Myrtle Beach for an included dinner at Original Benjamin’s and check into your ocean front room at the Sea Watch Resort. (B,D)

Tuesday, April 29

Breakfast is included at the hotel. Experience the Hopsewee Plantation, a beautifully preserved historic site where you'll explore the 18th-century home, learn about its rich history, and enjoy a delicious Southern-inspired lunch in a serene Lowcountry setting. Take a leisurely afternoon to unwind and enjoy the amenities at Sea Watch Resort, where you can relax by the pool, stroll along the beach, or simply take in the breathtaking ocean views from your room. Savor a delightful dinner aboard the Barefoot Queen Riverboat Cruise, and enjoy a scenic journey along the Intracoastal Waterway, complete with stunning views, live entertainment, and a delicious meal. Wednesday, April 30

Start your day with a thrilling dolphin cruise on the Calabash Fishing Fleet, where you’ll have the chance to spot playful dolphins in their natural habitat and learn about the importance of preserving the delicate balance of the marine ecosystem. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to shop and explore the charming boutiques at Barefoot Landing and a relaxing lunch on your own. Return to the resort for some down time. Thursday, May 1

After an included breakfast at the hotel, we'll depart for Charleston. Visit the H.L. Hunley, a Civil War-era submarine that mysteriously vanished after sinking an enemy ship in 1864. This remarkable vessel, discovered over a century later, offers intriguing insights into 19th-century naval innovation and the enduring mysteries of maritime history. The Hunley is housed by the Warren Lasch Conservation Center, a facility dedicated to advancing knowledge and best practices in the study, analysis, conservation and preservation of materials and structures of historical significance. Afterward, enjoy free time to explore the vibrant Charleston City Market and savor an independent lunch at one of the many local eateries. In the afternoon, we have planned a captivating tour of Charleston, where a local guide will showcase iconic city highlights such as the Battery, Rainbow Row, and historic downtown. Enjoy a laid-back evening with an included dinner at Bubba’s Fish Shack in Surfside, where you’ll savor fresh, Southern-style seafood and classic comfort food in a fun, beachy atmosphere. (B,D)

Friday, May 2

Breakfast is included at the hotel. Enjoy a relaxing free day at the Sea Watch Resort, where you can unwind by the pool, stroll along the beach, or simply soak in the oceanfront views at your leisure. In the evening, gather for an included dinner at Joe’s Bar & Grill, offering a casual, welcoming atmosphere and delicious local fare. The highlight of the evening is the lively & iconic Carolina Opry Show, featuring a dynamic blend of music, dance, and comedy that captures the spirit of the region. (B,D)
