This tour involves steps at the jail and is not recommended fort hose with very limited mobility.

Our first stop is the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Estate for a tour of the beautiful arboretum at Spiegel Grove. During the tour, you will also learn the history behind the famous White House Gates on the property.

Next, watch a family-friendly Halloween movie while you enjoy your lunch at The Strand Theater. You’ll make a fun fall treat to take home with you.

After lunch we’re making hydro-dipped pumpkins at Pottery Perfection. Hydro-dipping is a method of applying color patterns to any object that can be submerged in water. The creative owners of Pottery Perfection will assist you in dipping your own pumpkin to take home.

Last stop is the highlight of the day—The Sandusky County Historic Jail and Dungeon Tour. Take a peek at prison life in the 1840s style dungeon. Visit the jail and hear “spooky” stories that occurred in the 100 year old building.

Lunch is included at The Strand.
