Kick off your morning with a hearty hotel breakfast, fueling up for a day that dives straight into the heart of Amish country. With a friendly local guide leading the way, you’ll step into an interesting maker experience that brings Amish traditions, craftsmanship, and everyday life to life in the best possible way. Your journey winds through charming stops like Yoder Popcorn—family‐run since 1936—where the aroma alone is worth the visit. Then watch noodles being made fresh at the Dutch Country Market before browsing beautifully hand‐crafted wood pieces at the Teaberry Wood Shop. Each stop feels like discovering a hidden gem. Following the tour, enjoy a leisurely horse‐and‐buggy ride through town and the surrounding countryside. It’s the perfect chance to soak in the peaceful scenery and get an up‐close look at a way of life that moves at a refreshingly gentle pace. Lunch is a feast at the Blue Gate Restaurant, with comfort classics like fried chicken, roast beef, and meatloaf. Afterward, settle in at the Blue Gate Theatre for A Simple Sanctuary, an uplifting story filled with heart, hope, and the warmth of community.
